Our BOard
Meet the Board of Our Footprints Foundation. We are a team of four individuals with diverse backgrounds in banking, finance, international development, innovation, healthcare and infrastructure development and construction. We are all connected through our passion and desire to contribute to the welfare of underserved communities. Through this passion we are dedicated and committed to advancing the work of Our Footprints Foundation and look forward to, together with you, making an impact in the communities we serve.
Umutoni Midiburo is a mother of three and lives in the Netherlands. She is a banker by profession. She is originally from Congo and grew up in Zambia. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and is currently pursuing a masters degree in International Development studies.

It has been a dream of hers to start a foundation that will contribute to the lives of the most vulnerable people. She is not only honored but excited to embark on this journey with her best friend, Kunda Musungaila. Together they have dreamt and envisioned the world they would like to live in and have worked tirelessly to get Our Footprints off the ground.

Kunda is a Zambian national currently living in Kabwe, Zambia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and a master’s degree in International Development. Her professional life has involved working in the infrastructure development sector in the public service for over five years.

Working in the local authority she was exposed to various communities and their needs, fueling her need to fulfill her longtime dream of being part of a foundation and meeting the needs of people firsthand. With a shared passion with her best friend Umutoni, and support from family and friends Our Footprints Foundation was born.
​
From a young age she always felt the need to help others especially those in impoverished areas with not many opportunities to raise their standard of living. She can also be known as a humanitarian, one with a passion for the people.
​
Kunda loves to travel in her free time and is curious about the different cultures. She also loves to read whenever she gets the chance.

Margriet is originally from Suriname and has lived in The Netherlands for more than 20 years. She has over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Coming from a big family of 14 and her father’s example of community work made her not only accustomed to having people around her but made her develop a passion for helping people. This led her to choose a career path in healthcare. She is a certified nurse with a specialty in oncology.
​
She has worked in both hospitals and homecare institutions as a nurse. Since 2014 she is also running Happy Home, a healthcare institution providing homecare to patients.
​
Margriet is passionate about kids and hopes through her sit on the board of Our Footprints Foundation, she can contribute to the welfare of the many kids the foundation will reach.
​
Margriet loves cooking in her free time and is an active member of the Seventh day Adventist church in Hilversum.

Lovis is originally from Rwanda. He came to The Netherlands at a young age where he grew up and was able to study and develop himself further.
He has a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and a master's degree in Business Innovation. Lovis works in the field of human resource.
Lovis joined Our Footprint Foundation because of his desire to help people and communities. Helping people to develop and grow is something he is very passionate about. He wants to contribute to the foundation using his skillset, abilities, knowledge and network.

His studies and work have brought him to different places all over the world, such as Ireland, France and Malaysia. He is a big fan of traveling and loves to explore new countries and cultures. He is also passionate about photography.
